When I visited Arthur Rankin Hospice at the end of 2024, I was immediately taken with the warmth of welcome as I walked into the light and airy reception. I had been a little nervous about going into the hospice but these nerves were soon dispelled as it is such a positive and engaging space.

Upon talking to members of the team and finding out more about their amazing work, it was easy to see that their ethos is that of care not only for their patients and families but for their team too. It was also clear that they are also a proud midlife employer. With a breadth of both clinical, administrative, retail and hospitality staff, they are focused on bringing people into the organisation who are engaged, show true empathy and have the skills and ability to work within this rewarding space.

It is often said that working within the charity sector is not so much a job as a passion, could your next step combine your skills and your passion?
